Who am I? That’s One Secret I Will Tell…

Yes, that is a pathetically sad reference to Gossip Girl. (For the blessedly clueless, in the opening credits of GG, the narrator says, “And who am I? That’s one secret I’ll never tell.”) So what are my secrets? Here’s the ones I’m willing to share:

I’m a freelance writer, blogger, and progressive activist based in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. I started out life in the IT industry and I have a B.S. in Computer Information Science from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Go Mavericks!

After graduation from MSU in 2002, I started and ran a small business teaching seniors how to use their computers. I have also worked in web design and web marketing.

Life has taken a few interesting turns and I am now pursuing employment through writing/blogging. My work has appeared in B*tch Magazine, Madison, Wis. Capitol Times and on various blogs, such as AAUW Dialog and Choices Campus (FMF). I was also a frequent contributor to the Women’s Rights blog at Change.org.
