I forgot to mention in the post how ludicrous the idea of picking players based on looks really is because there isn't time during the draft to look up the players' pictures. You get a minute and a half, which goes by incredibly fast. I've lost out on a turn just looking up one guy's stats, let alone looking at pictures. Sheesh. Darnit!
